Lowestoft Safer Neighbourhood Team covers a large number of towns and parishes in the area.

Suffolk Constabulary also provides a Community Engagement Officer, dedicated to working with the local community, and can be contacted direct by email.

The Suffolk Neigbourhood Watch Association has allocated these towns and parishes into a single area network - identified as follows:

Lowestoft Area A - Area Coordinator: Brian Sivyer
Blundeston, Carlton Colville, Corton, Flixton, Gisleham, Kessingland, Lound, Lowestoft, Oulton, Somerleyton, Ashby and Herringfleet.

Due to demand we have organised our second first aid course on Tuesday 20th November in North Lowestoft in the afternoon. It is being run by British Red Cross instructors. It lasts for about 90 minutes. The training is very informal and looks at having the will to help in a first aid situation as well as the skill. It is aimed at giving you confidence to tackle situations. It is not technical and is delivered in a very interactive and fun way.  Participants receive an information pack and a certificate of first aid learning. We even provide refreshments!
